The name says it all: FlexGuard is the flexible, low-friction material that has proven itself above all in paper production. For example, as a sealing strip for suction rolls, FlexGuard does a highly reliable job. FlexGuard is based on a rubber graphite and, thanks to intensive material development, is particularly resistant to bending, meaning that it is highly unlikely that a batten will break. Downtimes are thus reduced to a minimum. Operating temperatures of up to 115 °C are also no problem in the long term. The material is available in lengths of up to 12 meters, so that even the world’s largest and fastest paper machines can be equipped with sealing strips made of FlexGuard without any problems.
