Defying high temperature – the engineering plastic St 7000® EHT from Wefapress®.

Wherever elevated temperatures demand everything from an engineering plastic, our St 7000® EHT is the material of first choice. Thanks to a special additive, it is particularly heat-resistant and elevated continuous temperatures of up to 100°C or even up to 135°C for short periods do not bother it. On the contrary! And the additional equipment with oxidation-inhibiting additives also permits an extended service life – especially at higher temperatures.

135°C peak temperature – our St 7000® EHT plastic for industry can do it!

Large bakeries with their ovens in continuous operation are a good example of the highest stress on technical equipment with elevated temperatures. The pure material PE-UHMW is not sufficient here, but thanks to St 7000® EHT it is possible to benefit from the well-known PE-UHMW properties even in extreme temperature application ranges.

In general, St 7000® EHT is excellently suited for plants in the food and beverage industry. Our St 7000® EHT plastic is food-safe, heat-resistant and scores additional points when it comes to cleaning the equipment, since in addition to the temperature resistance described above, the plastic has high chemical resistance and does not absorb moisture.

St 7000® EHT – perfect properties for the food industry and beyond.

But that’s not all – it goes without saying that our material, which has been further developed on the basis of PE-UHMW, meets all food conformity requirements. The material complies with FDA guidelines and is also available as FSP quality, which is compliant with Regulations (EC) No. 1935/2004 and (EU) No. 10/2011.

But technical plastic parts made of St 7000® EHT are not only found in the food industry or beverage and filling industry industry. Due to the already excellent properties of our starting material PE-UHMW, the range of applications is diverse: For example, seals and pumps for the chemical industry, sliding profiles for conveyor technology and automation, or headbox diffuser blocks and doctor beds for the paper industry are made from St 7000® EHT.
